(quick update - I got my information mixed up. My apologies. Here is the correct info for our upcoming Advanced Open Water Course

In the last year, we've had 3 Open Water Courses that filled with new students very quickly.

Because of the interest generated by our new students / members, we will be offering an Advanced Open Water Course this coming June 30th and July 1st (2018)

Prerequisites:
To take this course, you must be:
A PADI Open Water Diver (or PADI Junior Open Water Diver)

Benefits:
  • Learn how to think like a diver.
  • Shallow shipwreck exploration.
  • Learn how to navigate underwater using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.
  • Fun night diving experience at the same shallow wreck site.
  • How to better use your dive computer and electronic Recreational Dive Planner (eRDPml)
  • Feel the thrill of moving in a safe current without the effort of kicking.
  • Experience light, colour and physical effects of deeper scuba diving.

This is a course you can go into immediately after your PADI Open Water Diver course.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build upon your scuba skills so you can become even more comfortable in the water. You will be able to increase your diving depth from 18 meters (60 feet) to 30 meters (100 feet).

This is a great way to get more dives under your belt while continuing to learn under the supervision of your Ajax Scuba Club/PADI certified Instructor. This course builds on what you’ve learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new activities and more ways to have fun scuba diving.

You’ll hone your skills by completing five adventure dives that introduce you to:
  1. Deep water diving (18-30 metres/ 60-100 feet)
  2. Underwater navigation
  3. Wreck dive
  4. Drift dive
  5. Night dive
